im new to v festival so i have a few questions?

i normaly go t readign estival ect but this year i got offered 5 vip tickets and have a few questions about the festival.

-firstly im getting the vip tickets off one of the dj's that are playing im ment to be meetign him there thencollecting wristbands in exchange for a code we are given, anyone herd off this before or am i just getting scammed.

-secondly what does vip intitle you to and i have seen no vip area on the map?

- is v festival strict, reading is usualy anythign goes so im wonderign if v is the same or do they carry out searches on everyone, patrol the festival and are they strict on underage drinkers ?

Only thing I can really help you with is the strictness one.

I didnt find it much more strict than Reading festival, which I have gone to 3 times before and V 1 time before. Some people near us got their weed confiscated, back then you were allowed fires I think, and we never got any trouble about that. We were camped a bit out of the way, but just seemed a very relaxed atmosphere.
