When I went to V in 2007.

There was a big urinal thing for guys and portaloos. So only guys needing number 2s and girls queue for portaloos. But I remember in the arena there being not enough toilets and girls squatting by fences. Although this was at the Stafford one, not sure which one you are going to.

Tbh I found the portaloos pretty clean, they clean them quite often. I wouldnt worry too much, the toilets there seem better than at Reading festival which I go to every year.

You will see plenty of girls squatting against the panels that block off backstage areas with a poncho around them! Probably best to steer clear of this option unless absolutely blotto. It really doesnt leave anything to the imagination, we ladies are not made like men who have the enviable ability to wee anywhere!!!

Worryingly, some women have developed an ability to pee in a bottle. This takes years of training. But you may spy groups of "ladies" taking this option in the crowds down the front at mainstage!!!

In the campsite, women have also been know to squat behind tents, use buckets and various other means and methods at night mainly! This is mostly because it is very dark and its that or risk not making it through the maze of tent ropes and muddy terrain to get to the queues for the loos
