Squall Moogle
Does anyone know if there will be a Sonisphere in 2010? If so I am there.
Lithium05
There was a competition to win tickets for next year at this years fest, so it looks like they're planning on there being one next year!.
Bluearsedfly
I believe it's booked for another 2 Years at least.

Sparticus
am positive that when the initial announcement was made they stated that metallica were signed up for the next three years exclusively to sonisphere, probably meaning they're playing again in 2011? tohellweride
IRON MAIDEN will headline one of the days next year.
shrimpy53
Is that a hunch or do ya have any basis on that? general opinion is that Maiden will be there though

stramasher
Bit gutted at missing it this year. We had already booked flights and accom to see Metallica in Dublin on the saturday nicht. Thought it all looked pretty good on the TV. (No footage of the maniac from Airbourne going for a climb tho') Lot of talk (and evidence..big Nicko spotted and on TV) about Iron Maiden headlining and if they do I am there. My one concern at the moment, as usual with these big outdoor gigs is what the feck is the script with the golden circle/vip/wristband area at the front of the main stage? Was it an extra wristband only? (Like Dublin) or is it for everybody to get in anytime if you don't mind a wee queue? (Like TintheP) Or target practice VIP area? (Like in the bad old days) How was the camp site too? Cheers folks.
Paul W
There's no que or anything, you just walk in and out as you please. Camping wasn't too crowded but there wasn't too much of an atmosphere which mean't no real good parties, but meant you could get sleep. biffoire
Camping was awesome, the later you turned up the closer you were to the arena and there was still room on saturday! Clean site, great banter and no where near as vast as reading or leeds!! Awesome weekend!!

biffoire
Slipknot could also do the Linkin park slot.
Lithium05
Maybe Slipknot could headline and wheel a few side projects out during a headline set!!

kipper64
Tbh I dont want Slipknot as a headliner... Subheadliner imo... I'd rather we got maiden, and then either Foo Fighters/MUSE as a softer saturday headliner.

Matticus
can see this as the line up Saturday Slipknot Deftones Killswitch Engage Enter Shikari Alexisonfire Chimaira 2nd Stage Incubus Wolfmother Rise Against Sunday Iron Maiden Korn Lost Prophets Megadeth Serj Tankian The Wildhearts 2nd Stage Motorhead Ash Dragonforce Shadows Fall Dimmu Borgir Suicide Silence Edited September 23, 2009 by Matticus
Lithium05
Swap round Lostprophets and Deftones (for size, not quality) and that looks like a decent guess, Lostprophets are bigger than Korn nowadays too.
tomisnothere
Lostprophets might even be big enough to headline next year, depends how the new album swings. Definitely sub at least though.
Lithium05
Thinking about it I reckon swap Prophets and Motorhead and stick Motorhead above Korn and that would look about right.
