Early Entrance

Anyone know the reason seetickets state early entrance starts at 14:00 when i thought it was around 18:00 depending on when the site was ready?

Just wondered so I can sort my driving plans out.

It was on the main site a couple of weeks back

Early Entry Is Now 14:00 Wednesday

Normal Entry is now 03:00 (3am) Thursday

It usually opens earlier. Last year was around 12ish, 'cause of the sheer number of people.

It was much earlier than that last year, I had my tent set up in yellow by 11am.

Early entry is whenever the site is ready... sometimes it's 10am, sometimes it's been as late as 4...

We are leaving from newcastle at 4am on the Thursday for leeds, hope to be in and all set up by around 7-8ish, but obviously that will depend on volumes of traffic at that time. lest year we left at around 8 and we were set up by 1pm but there were masses of queue's last year to get into the site, what with all the flooding nd that.

Hmmm, maybe if there's only a few of you... infact when it was just 2 of us in 04 we turned up late on Thursday and got a brilliant spot! (The spot we still use!)

By last year our group had grown to about 40 tho... so only option is to go early entry (we also don't wanna lose our regular spot! )... we usually send a couple in with the tents then the rest come with regular entry...

It's also not (purely) a money making scheme... I think it's part of the license, along with the Coach+ticket combos, in order to reduce congestion...

You'll get a good spot on thursday if you turn up early enough, early bird just an excuse for the festival to get more money.

I think they always list it as 6pm on the tickets so not everyone turns up for 2pm.

We'll be getting there early anyway, get a good camping spot, work out the layout of the site, then get to pub!
