My mate said too me that wood was banned this year and you wouldn't be aloud to take any into the campsite, is there any truth too this? I personally think this is bullshit but i wan't to make sure becuase i'll be taking a load in.

I recall hearing something similar, something to do with taking wooden crates in..people getting wooden crates from town and taking them back to the site and then having the wood taken off them by security at the entrance?

You have never really been allowed in with creates - though some gates were lax on it - officially you were supposed to break them up before you brought them onto site. Wood wont be banned dont worry.

Because if you throw a whole pallet on a fire it becomes a bit too big for the the campsites at Reading.

yea makes sense, don't want people creating fires too big! I'm actually glad the fire marshalls dont let people build massive fires - pretty dangerous imo
