How Far From Arena To Campsite?

This is my first year at V and following massive blowouts at other festivals i'm hoping to make it a cheap one!!

I'm pretty adept at smuggling drink into a festival but reckon i'll need to make at least one trip back to my tent each day in order to collect more booze and have something to eat.

I'm guessing that leaving and re-entering the arena won't be a problem, but is it gonna be a massive trek?

really depends on where you're camped. in red it can range from 2mins to 20 mins, some campsite can take longer, also depends on how fast you walk

If you camp towards the front of Red or Orange you are looking at 5 minutes from the arena to your tent. If you camp at the back of Green or Gold, could be 20 minutes or more, depending on your walking speed!!!

I'm not making plans to camp anywhere specific just yet - i'll see what happens on the day.

Sounds like a worst-case scenario is twenty minutes, but given the speed i walk when i'm desperate for an alcoholic beverage i reckon i can trim a few minutes off that!

Also bear in mind the weather - last year the journey too and from silver seemed to last forever when you're wading through several inches of mud!
