I have just recived this email.

V Festival 2009 - Hylands Park, Chelmsford

Dear Ticketmaster Customer,

This is an information email from Ticketmaster regarding the V Festival at Hylands Park, Chelmsford on 22 & 23 August 2009.

Please note the following event details:

Opening Times:

Car Parks - 10:00 Friday 21 August 2009

Campsites - 12:00 Friday 21 August 2009

Main Arena - Approximately 18:00 on Friday for campers only. 12:00 Saturday and Sunday.

New to V this year will be a welcome indie club night within the Arena from 19:00 to 23:00 on Friday, plus a fun fair in the Arena and just outside the red campsite.

Weekend Camping Ticket Holders:

You will have received a camping wristband which is your entry ticket, please read the information in the wristband wallet very carefully. You must keep your wristband safe as replacement wristbands will not be given under any circumstance.

Please ensure you camp only in your designated campsites (Red or Yellow). There are fire lanes in these campsite for emergancy vehicle use, these are marked by white lines on the grass. If you camp within the fire lanes your tent will be removed even if you are not present. If in doubt please ask a steward.

Weekend Without Camping Ticket Holders:

You are not permitted to camp on site.

Your ticket has a bar code which will be scanned on entry to the arena on both Saturday and Sunday. It is vital that you keep the ticket safe prior to arriving at V as replacements will not be given under and circumstances.

Please ensure you have all your belongings with you as you will bot be readmiited if you leave the Arena.

Campervan Ticket Holders:

If you have booked a campervan pitch you must exchange your camper van ticket and weekend camping tickets for a wristband on arrival.

There is a maximum of 4 persons permitted per pitch and each person must have a weekend camping ticket.

You should have received a hanging card showing a caravan symbol, please display this in the rear view mirror of your vehicle as you near the festival site.

Security Searches:

You may be searched by security on entry to the campsite. Please use the lists below for some items which are not permitted, please also use your common sense when deciding what to bring, anything illegal or that may be considered an offensive weapon will not be permitted.

Soft drinks in plastic or no more than 1 litre.

Empty plastic container for FREE drinking water available at the stand pipes

Your Safety:

- if you don't need it, don't bring it

- leave valuables at home

- use inexpensive camping gear

- keep money and bank cards with you at all times and use a money belt

- don't bring an expensive camera, use a disposable one

- lock your car and don't leave valuables visible, use a steering lock

- don't leave valuables in your tent

Wow this tread must have worked because i have just called my wife (i work away) and our wrist bands have turned up from Ticketmaster for the red camp site at Chelmsford. Get in.

Still not bloody got mine!!!!! Got my car parking tickets today! Not much use they are without camping tickets hey! Getting the hump now

Woo thanks for posting! Put my mind at rest about my non camping tickets being scanned!! Hope all your tickets come from ticketmaster!
