taking drinks in to the arena.....

I know the problems of smuggling cans or spirits etc but was looking on the official V site etc and it says this

You can bring water and soft drinks (no alcohol) into the arena. It must be in collapsible plastic, foil or cardboard containers of not more than 1 litre in size. You can bring alcoholic and soft drinks onto the campsites however, there is a strict NO GLASS policy and any glass discovered will be confiscated.

which is different to last year cos Im sure we were only allowed 500ml, plastic, sealed, water.

By this reckoning we can have cardboard juice litre things that we have opened and poured vodka in to!

Ok they said no alcohol but its gonna be a hell of a lot harder for them to police now.

That said Im printing that page and taking it with me cos Im sure the jobsworths will still stick with the water rules etc......

I beat my own record at the weekend by smuggling 5 miniatures in my bra into Wembley ;-) Taking a couple of 500 mls cokes in too as mixers.

I'm pretty sure they in the past have taken botles away from you or at least smelt the contents before you enter. This year like last I shall be using a listerine bottle to put my vodka in and sticking it down the front of my trousers as I enter the arena

wrapped a bottle of vodka in a jumper last year and shoved it in my bag, got it in no problem
