A little help for a old time returner

Hi everyone,

A bunch of old britpop heads will be heading to the V festival this year and looking forward to a great weekend. We have not been to a festival since Glasto and V in 2004 !!

I was hoping that someone could help us. Is there anything on (entertainment wise) friday night, I notice that there are some act on in the Bowtime Bar (previously the Strongbow lounge I think). Does that mean that the arena will be open friday night or is that on camp ? Also will be we be able to buy drinks vouchers on friday night to use there or is it cash ?

Hey hey!

There is an indie rave in the arena friday night, you should also be able to get into the funfair but can't be 100% certain of that. The arena opens at 6 to campers only.

You can buy beer tokens on the friday night as well.

Bowtime bar will be open on Friday as will the Indie Disco in the Arena and the funfair will also be running and yes you can buy your beer tokens on the Friday night

I think the Bowtime bar is only open on the Friday in Stafford, not Chelmsford.
