Right im not sure whether to bring wellies or not. Anyone give any advice on whether to bring them or not. I have never been to a music festival but my friend went last year and he said he diddnt bring them last year but I dont think it rained last year anyway. Im just contemplating whether to take them as seems like I should incase it pissed it downbut he says you shouldnt

Just bring them, British weather isn't exactly predictable and whilst it may be a slight pain to have them if you don't actually need them, you will be super grateful if the heavens do open!

How many times have you gone out in sunshine only for storm crazy storm to happen in the afternoon!?

I only ever takes wellies whatever the weather, never wear trainers or converse or anything else, then I don't care what I have to walk through (including in the toilets!!) or whether it chucks it down - and they are a fashion item anyway!!

If you have room take them, if you don't- then don't. Personally I hate wearing them as you're feet got horribly hot and sweaty and I will only do so if essential but I take them regardless as we aren't camping. I don't get this whole "fashion" thing with wellies personally, but if you like wearing them then fair enough.

hmmm I say no.

Having been to chelmsford for many many years, the weather has never been that bad that you really really needed them. sure there has been mud from time to time but overall, I have found I end up in the heat wearing wellies and I just HATE them.... especially if you wanna sit down for an hour or so, I always end up bare foot.

That said, everyone is saying take them... mine are tucked up with the spiders in the shed and I wasnt planning on getting them out... now thinking I should bung them under the seats in the car??!?!?
