hey all, i was wondering if anyone can tell me whats on offer to eat and drink from inside the event. I.e. What brands of beer, how big a variety of spirits, wines, shots and also food i.e. Burgers, chips, chinese, noodles, not sure how much cash to take either. Hw much would you say you have spent on average for the weekend. I was thinking approx 100 a day any and all info apprecated

They had Stella in plastice bottles and Smirnoff last year. That is about all I can remember! Cant comment on the food because didnt buy any in the arena! I'd never spend £100 a day, I spent less than that the whole weekend last year. Maybe as low as 50! We were camping though so had our own drink etc in the campsite.

Spends always depends on how much you're planning on drinking and how addicted you get to the funfair!! Drinks are around £3 a go and funfair is £5 a go at peak times but often cheaper earlier on in the afternoon. I reckon £100 per day is more than enough!!

In the arena drinks that are available are usually John Smiths, Smirnoff Ice, Lager (Stella or similar) & Strongbow. Also available are the 'guest' drinks. This year I believe there is a Bacardi Mojito stand and the Jagermeister wagon (there's been Pimms and Sangria in the past).

Food is the usual but there is generally a good variety (rarely eat in there so can't comment on quality). Burgers, hot dogs, chips, pasties, pies, noodles, curry etc have all been there. Varies from year to year but always a decent selection.

Hope this helps

I would say £50 a day is plenty for any festival food/drink/anything else you want to buy personally.

Just a shame you cant bring your booze into the arena, but thats arena festivals for you!
