well as we have loads of moaning threads i though would had a happy one, this was my 3rd V and even with (in my eyes) weakest lineup yet me and the fella had a bloody fantastic time :)

I'm well aware of the problems of V festie and still agree the toilet situation needs to be sorted, but passes to hidden garden thingie saved me on that point I tell yeah...

Was a bit stressed of been put in south as rather long trek to orange but Efest camp worked brilliantly again think we got about 45 people in plues Indies crew (thanks for the push in Dawn :P ) so we pretty much took over top of orange!!! Was great to see old faces and meet new ones it was lovely atmosphere in there and I was very happy!!

TBH the whole w/end just flowed lovely saw a few full sets, highlights being the Enemy and Pendulum and me n fella just milled about catching part sets whilst basking in sun, drinking beers and possibly picking up the odd cup between stages lol (we made £90 over the w/end that covered all food and half beers) so we were very happy bunnies!!!

Quite frankly although there were a few minor upsets I can't fault my time spent at V this year as I thoroughly enjoyed so hands up who had a bloody fantastc time?!!!!

PS. although wasn't going to be going next year as doing Glasto & Leeds fella has bought tickets dope so we are there again, efest camp shall rise again!!! woo hoo :P:D:)

Yeah we are definatly returning, there is just something special about V for our crew anyway, this was supposed to be our big V send of with no return but most of us are going again next year.

It was soo freaky bumping into you at the que in and then all weekend and then on the way out ha ha, it must be fate Laura. You and Andy are such a lovely couple and can't wait to get my hat out :P

it was one of the best V's I have been too, even the Chav piss throwing did not put my off tried to stay clear, I loved Kid british, Lilly Allen, Specials and of course the Killers, made even better by being with the love of my life singing our hearts out.

Yes V struck it's bow and arrow of love at me, after 3 year's of us not getting together we are finally a couple, yaaay.

Loved lighting chinese lanterns on the floor and just watching them holding hands, bloody hell going soppy in my old age

I had a an amazing time and being my first time at V was sooooo impressed by it all (apart form the drinks tokens!).

Will definately be returning next year and just hope it all goes as smoothly as this year. The camping was fab (silver camp), the acts were brilliant, the people were all so friendly and having a great time and I just didnt want to leave. My tummy hurt when I got home from laughing too much and was well worth it.

Calvin Harris and Fat Boy Slim just blew me away!

I'm a seasoneed camper, and quite the concert goer, I knew the combination of the two would be good, but not as special as it turned out to be. The memories of those 4 days will stay with me forever, especially me and two of my best mates singing and dancing our hearts out to the likes of The Killers, Pendulum, Specials, Athelete and Keane. Just a shame they couldn't get back to me for the end of Elbow and through Snow Patrol, but still just an absolutely amazing weekend.

OK, so security can be miserable, toilets can be awful (being male has it's advantages here! :P) and food and drink is expensive, none of this could detract from an awesome experience.

Praise be to the forces of weather, holding out all weekend for a glorious weekend, and only a dribble of rain on sunday, and a bit more than that on the Friday.

Thanks to Jordan, Alex and family and also to those brilliant people from Tamworth in Green who joined us in the ALAN! STEVE! songs, happy to see Villa beat Liverpool! :P

Big up Camp Orange!!! Whoop! I must say it was one of the best V Festival camping experiences. I had a brilliant time. Yes I have done a lot of moaning but to be honest, V Festival didn't have the best start for me and it kept finding ways to slap me about the head!!

However, remaining possitive here as this is what this thread is all about, I totally loved my time in Camp Orange. HUGE hugs and thanks to you guys for saving space for the Teepee of Love and to the Swansea massive for cracking me up with the Carrot talk!!! Sooo funny.

Oooh and Dizzee and the Gaga rocked my tiny world!

I have managed to come home with some fabulous memories and brilliant photos as well as bruised ribs and a broken voice. But I is still smiling!!!

I doubt that I will make an appearance at V2010. This has nothing to do with Efest Camp. I'd still be there if I could :P I just can't handle that much stress in a morning!!!! :D Buuuuut, maybe the lineup will amaze me and I'll be like "f**k it", or someone will give me a ticket for free. Then I can't complain!!!

B x

Crazy about 2 months ago I swore I'd need to see serious headliners to be back at V with my group of mates... just bought 4 Early Bird tickets, see you all in 2010!

My only regret of the weekend? I didn't take up the offer of a spare ticket to Leeds as now Dave G & Josh as Them Crooked Vultures will no doubt play alongside Arctics and Eagles of Death Metal

Oh and I'm going to have to dig deep as we're planning Glasto too (its the anniversary and it'll be a good one)... still you're only young once (was young once).

Me n Fi enjoyed our first V too - it was great to meet some 'familiar' faces as we were on our own and felt we were amongst friends...

...big thanks to Laura for some fine organising skills, Lesley for pitching up earlier than us and guiding us in, Rich and Lisa (and Stu) for being great neighbours and Dawn for introducing herself!

We loved floating about the arena and seeing bands we wouldn't normally see - Exit Calm & Kid British were great - Proclaimers got the crowd going, Happy Mondays were good - and fulfilled an ambition seeing The Specials...! So a great time really - one regret that we didn't mingle as much as we should have...! Maybe next year!

Cheers all

I probably should have also spent more time mingling but the weekend just flew by so quickly, we are planning on going early nextyear and camping on white pump farm for a day or 2 before (weather permitting).

We, as in me and my fella, he he, V has such a magical effect on relationships, spent the last 3 year's ocasionally dating him and then fell head over heels in love with him this year at V, hence the walk of shame back to my camp each morning to say Hi to my family and friends I went with, I did not spend much time with all of Efest crewe as I should have but did not spend much time with my own camp but well worth it and yeah tickets are well and trully in the bag for next year.
