Well I've got my ticket so I have to find something else to worry about!

Normally I never worry about the weather but......

63 million millimetres is quite a lot of rain, over 39 miles in fact, have we pee'd god off again?

oh and 1,100 degrees centigrade is a might bit toasty too!

GREAT - a Weather post!

Someone posts a link to a good forecast - someone else posts a link to an iffy one - yaaaawwwwnn

It's September ffs - and even if it was in the middle of an Indian Summer, anyone who goes to a music festival without the gear (wellies AND sunhat) for all eventuallities is simply NUTTTZZZ!

ssshhh...

Don't want to be a weathermonger BUT, it's raining at the mo on the Isle of Wight - so Bestival sure to be another mudfest - and the clouds are heading up to the Dorset/Wiltshire border......don't panic!

You have to have a pointless weather thread, it's compulsory.

Just like you have to have several threads all asking similar questions that could all have been answered by reading the information section of the website.

Just be thankful this isn't V or Reading so we are spared all the "This band that I'm not going to see anyway is really rubbish" threads

The Weathermonger returns - as someone who was at the 'proper' Larmer Tree Festival months ago, I can exclusively reveal that, even though it was in the middle of the Summer, IT PISSED DOWN.

AND, the grass turned to mud, then dried out somewhat - then back to mud again!!! CALAMITY.

Thank heavens me and the wife (as seasoned Festivalers - not your junior joggers) had the foresight to pack 2 pairs of Wellies with the Jesus Boots, Rainwear with the Rab C Vests!

...and some people should take more Irony Tablets and not just complain about others complaining - that too, was in jest...............

We were trying to dismantle & pack new tents at Green Man in the pouring rain but it still didn't matter. With this line up and the lovely people attending, it'll be bloody ace anyway! Here's to wellies, macs and (optimistically) factor 50. Just dry would be good though... :(
