Creamfields 2009 - My Review

Ok, so creamfields 2009 was my first dance festival! I generally do download fest....

Saturday

Sailing in to the site via J12.

Boring Boring qeue to get in enuff said and the Nazi security staff, arrogant w*nkers!

£4 for a warm bottle of pear cider not good at all Sort it Out

Judge Jules was awesome.

Jeigermeister truck was awesome with the hippy dude.

Weather was`nt too bad.

Did`nt get much sleep, southerners talking about pokemon and power rangers.

Went to the arena`s early in day again warm pear ciders

dont remember much after that, I was wasted but I did really enjoy myself.

2 many DJ`s awesome as ever.

Calvin Harris, F**king mega awesome.

The mighty jaxx, awesome, awesome and the chubbie singers could do with a diet..

Weather started o,k but went shit about tea timish.

Mud Mud Mud - I fell face first in it on way back to blue campsite.

Creamy 09 was my first festival and heres my review!

On arrival

Pretty sound directions and the traffic wasnt too bad to get there.

Had a bit of a cue to get to the camp site which was made much harder by the amount of stuff we took badf planning on our side there.

Everyone at the camp site was quality really good atmosphere.

thought security was a bit rubbish like you could have got anything in there like easily nly one police dog on duty!

Music was really really good couldnt gt in a tent after tiesto tho they were all packed out which was the only dissapointing bit of the weekend

Sunday amazing day got hammered and saw deadmau5 to see out creamy 09 he was unreal!

Was dead muddy but that added to the fun.

Saw no trouble all weekend i have to say it was a class festival great atmosphere ill be boking me early bird tickets for 2010 asap ! thanks creamfields 09 f**king belta

Thought it was great tbh.

Bus broke down on the way . Still managed to get there for about half 12 though.

Security was pretty inconsistent. They let my mate weeked camp with us when all he had was a single saturday ticket, yet they wouldn't let us do something harmless like chuck our bags into the campsite 'cos they were extremely heavy. It's all good though.

Music wise, was a bit dissappointed with Tiesto's set tbh. Don't think the main stage is loud enough tbh.

David Guetta was ok, nothing special though.

Ferry Corsten was f**king outstanding IMO, definitely the best set there I think. Deadmau5 was also sick.

Was in the front row/near the front for everything which was quality. Bit dissappointed though that I never found the time to see some of the less well known acts but nvm. Spent too much time in the campsite drinking.

The toilets were f**king awful. Especially the urinals near the arenas. Saw some guy fall flat on his face in the muddy piss water. Felt for him like.

Majority of the people there were sound as tbh. Had a bit of trouble on the bus there, and some scousers were in our tent trying to nick stuff. Apart from that everyone was quality though.

Will definitely go back next year. Will be driving down or taking the train though as I don't fancy catching the bus at 4am again.

Bit of a random summary tbh.

Straight in there on Sunday, VIP so priority parking and entry (no long q's for us !!) parked by 11:50pm, in the site by 12:15 as supped a nice cold can of Magners first !

Saw loads of acts/DJ's that we wanted to see and totally wore ourselves out dancing ! I think we're getting too old lol

Go Dutch - brilliant terrace, Eddie's set in Cream was just awesome, loved it :-)

The best part (other than Eddie) was the Hed Kandi arena in the VIP area, absolutely, totally 1,000,000% FOOKIN ACE!!

Comparing it to Global, Global's got a certain magic that CF hasn't got, can't explain it but it has, however, Global need to learn a few lessons on the VIP area, we want Hed Kandi back next year ! lol

Only a short summary but we had a fab time, thank you to the organisers it was really well organised (again, Global need to learn a lesson) but we'll be back again !!!

p.s. ace to see Delboy in VIP too

organised? are you serious, it was a complete joke on the saturday, tents were full up so you cudn get in, david guetta got evacuated and we had to wait for another hour till we were allowed bk in...queing to get in was a sham...you said you were vip, standard was a nightmare
