Lithium05
Sadly the above sounds about right. Would be about the same level as this year. Alice in Chains, Stereophonics and MCR in the tent would be cool though.

King101
Would love Alice In Chains in a tent up against the weak headliner, like Faith No More. Can't see MCR headlining reckon they will be 2nd to Green Day maybe, point in case Limp Bizkit. They were meant to headline the 1st Download but with the nu-metal scene over they now can only manage 3rd in the line up plus they are coming off the back of a reunion. With the emo scene kinda of dying the only way I can see them headlining is if the new album takes off big time which I doubt as I reckon they have already peaked with the Black Parade. I know they headlined Download 2 years ago but look at bands like The Strokes, Darkness and Travis and how quickly they dropped off still big but no longer headline material. MartinGooding
Just going off what ive picked up over the last couple of years im 99% convinced Kasabian will headline either R/L or V, i doubt The Libs will be around next year Pete seams desperate for the reunion but Carl will be touring his new solo stuff so i doubt that, i doubt the Foos or Qotsa will be around becasue im pretty sure Them Crooked Vultures will play a few festivals next year, i think it all depends on who gets Muse, if Muse dont play Glastonbury they will definately play R/L. Green Day will probably be around aswell so theyre a definate possibilty.

robsadler
i guess all of the possibilities have been mentioned. i'd be happy with any of the libertines, the strokes, kasabian, the stone roses (or all on the same heavenly day!) =w= would be brill too. MEGABOWL
Is this meant to be an accurate realistic predictions thread or is everyone on shit drugs? Kasabian headlining NME? Snow Patrol or Stereophonics headlining anywhere? (this isn't the V forum is it?)? Pendulum second top main stage? Actually looking at the presence of Stereophonics and Pendulum, have I missed the point? Is this a 'predict the worst Reading festival line-up ever' thread? tweemo freak
I have figured out slots for some people i said, Muse Leeds Friday and Reading Saturday main stage headline Good Charlotte 3rd on the main stage on Leeds Sunday and Reading Friday Twin Atlantic at some point on the Festival Republic stage on Leeds Saturday and Reading Sunday Ill think of more
Gareth100
I think there will be a good chance of Hot Chip headlining the NME stage. They should have a new album out by then and have been quiet on the festivals front this year. I'm not a fan but they can pull a huge crowd. The Cribs on the main stage should be a given. Motorhead are long overdue a return too!
Ice Fatality
Friday Muse My Chemical Romance Gaslight Anthem Saturday Green Day Blink-182 Weezer Sunday The Libertines (Bloc Party >_>) We Are Scientists With other festivals looking like Glastonbury Rolling Stones/Radiohead/U2 Download SOAD/Rammstein/ACDC (last show ever) Sonisphere Iron Maiden/Guns n Roses/Prodigy (if they extend to 3 days) V Kasabian/The Streets
Lithium05
I'm going with Reading Kasabian/Libertines/Muse Download Blink 182/Rammstein/Bon Jovi Sonisphere Green Day/Iron Maiden - They're going to have to pull off a major coup to shift tickets after this years fiasco. Green Day could be that coup. Though I still think they're more likely to do stadium shows in which case Sonisphere duty will fall to Slipknot.
