rather than hope for weezer, in 2005? i got to leeds thurs, put my tent up. then jumped on a train to manchester to watch weezer then headed back to leeds thurs night, definitely worth the hassle!

They played the main stage in 2002 and were awesome.

Did a very short tour in 2005 I believe for Make Believe. Can't have been more than 5 dates though.

That's still a long time for a band regularly releasing albums.

i have seen them live 4 or 5 times and they have always been very good.

i will always remember seeing them at reading festival a few years back and in the middle of the set a flock (?) of ducks flew straight over head in a flying v. it was a weird moment and couldn't have been coreographed better if they tried!

Has anyone listened to the new track.... I'm sorry but I would usually defend weezer to the end but I'm losing faith in them. The Red Album was a disapointment (better than make believe) and this new song sounds like they going down the same road. Blue, Pinkerton, Green, Maladriot - fine collection of albums.

The new Weezer just sounds overproduced and tired. Sorry. I would still love to see them though.
