Thinking about it, but "I really like the Red album" I actually meant I like the first 6-7 songs, not sure I've listed to it much after that!

Has anyone listened to the new track.... I'm sorry but I would usually defend weezer to the end but I'm losing faith in them. The Red Album was a disapointment (better than make believe) and this new song sounds like they going down the same road. Blue, Pinkerton, Green, Maladriot - fine collection of albums.

The new Weezer just sounds overproduced and tired. Sorry. I would still love to see them though.

Agreed about that album, it is pretty much a tale of 2 halfs. First half great and second half forgetable. Weezer may be a closer knit unit now others are allowed to write and sing but i dont think it has a positive effect on quality. Still far better than make believe, i still cant believe weezer were capabel of making an album so poor.

if we are all admitting things... i f**king love the new single. Think the new album will be great. There is no bad Weezer.

They need to play, i think if there is a chance of them playing Reading at any point i think next year will be it.

Its pretty bad - although Lil Wayne has released much better albums than weezer in recent years.

The last Weezer album was brilliant. Its nearly as good as any of their toehr stuff... Im a huge Weezer fan and ive got no idea why people seem to think they are suddenly shit. They arent.

They really have to play. Been wanting to see them for ages. Would be great in the sun on mainstage, or maybe headling FR? Or like anywhere, let them play anywhere!!

they are much to big to play on the FR stage, even if it is a headlining slot. If they do play it will be 2/3 slots down on a day headlined by someone like blink 182 OR they would headline NME like faith no more this year.

The new album is really really good. I really reccomend it. I've only listened once but i really like it. Red ALbum was ace, but not sure if this one is that good yet, but its still very good.

if we ended up in a time warp and it was 1997 then yes please to weezer. or even back to 2002, green album and maladroit are worth a listen too.

They were excellent at Leeds in 02 on my favourite ever day, The Dandy Warhols, The White Stripes, Weezer, Janes Addiction, Pulp, The Strokes.
