Anything come back from the festival with something they didnt go with?

Any1 go scavenging for stuff that people didnt go home with? perfect at past 12 on the monday

I came back with 2 glass bottles of pear cider and around 25 cans of diff stuff, and a wind up torch

also managed to leave the tent, my wellys and most of the other shit i brought, got some beer though so its all good

The people camped just up from us left a load of chairs so we grabbed them along with the abandoned bags for carrying them in. One had a price tag on - £13 at Millets!

Also the people camped accross from us left the same tent as the one my mate had so we swopped the bags for them as the one my friend had was falling apart!

I know a lot gets recycled but I do think thats its a shame so much stuff is left behind - I have used the same tent for 9 Readings and it always brings back the memories when I set it up :-)

I came back with a cold, an extreme headache (due to the toxic smoke that is produced on the sunday night) and a good tan.

We found a box of Strongbow for the train home, which helped with those bank holiday Monday blues.

We were camped in Y7 and on Sunday night some guy scoured the pole with his mate, nearly fell off twice and grabbed the Y7 Road sign, so he got a good little souvenir!

im am confused ab out the subject of this post, as i actually went to reading with an std and a hangover, expecting to leave them there, but no..

I was part of the team trying to salvage stuff for recycling. Whilst we did manage to find alot, majority was in such a state we couldn't do anything with. Brand new tents that had been burnt etc. I don't know where they get there money from - i too have had the same tent for 8 festivals and other camping trips and it's still got a lot of life left in it. The debris made the place look like the scene from some disaster movie.
