People standing in the crowd

I can't remember this happening too much in previous years - maybe I just wasn't paying attention or watching the right bands - but this year at Reading a big trend seemed to be not just going up on people's shoulders to sit but actually to stand fully, towering above the crowd!

Surely other people noticed this? It might have been something before but 2009 seemed to be filled with this happening.

It was amusing during Bloc Party when someone got naked and started windmilling at them.

Some kid was doing this in Brand New, and was pissing everyone around him off. After about the third time of doing it, someone pulled his baggy jeans down and got the whole lot out, there was a big cheer.

It did seem more common this year though.

Saw loads of it this year, especially at the main stage. Just people trying to get on tv.

i quite liked the triple pyramids they were quite impressive. People on shoulders for one song is ok in my mind but any more and its annoying. Bands were probably more aimed at on shoulders this year than for a long long time.
