rivalschools.price
quote from rammstein website-----'rammstein start a run of european dates in november, with uk headline shows plus a possible major headline appearance heavily rumoured for 2010' almost certainly download or sonisphere but who knows? pink_triangle
If faith no more, lost prophets, kaiser chiefs and the prodigy cant headline a mainstream festival like reading/leeds theres no chance that ramstein could! It would be something a bit different though. Download would seem more likely.
jammy2211
Soni or Download I'd guess, hopefully Download and I'm really hoping to go there this year. Soni has the money to pull of something like this more so then Download, but Download seemingly has a bit more prestiage and has been trying to get them for years. I really hope Download gets them tbh.

Lithium05
Unless Reading drasticly changes format for next year, and the other 2 headliners are Tool and Nine Inch Nails (I know they don't tour anymore you pedants) there is no chance of them doing Reading and Leeds. Download seems most likely seeing as they apparently ask them to play every year... hell next year might be the one time download get both of their oft rumoured headliners (the other being AC/DC)

Jaybles
I missed this years reading......not because i didnt want to go, but i had to work But the only band i was really interested in seeing this year was Faith No More. I know there were loads of great bands other than that, but Faith No More were the one band i really wanted to see that i had not seen yet. If i go next year, it will because some of the following bands decide to play. Rammstein Blink 182 Weezer Korn *Add Limp Bizkit and Papa Roach to that list....just for funsies Edited September 8, 2009 by Jaybles
Gedmundo
Stuart Galbraith who set Sonisphere up has confirmed to a few people at the event it to be a 5 year to growth venture. Essentially, it has another 4 years to start making significant profit. Unless something disasterous happens it's going ahead for another 4 years. Festivals start off shambolically. Download wasn't exactly packed to the seems on its first year either. That being said, I reckon it will be download getting Rammstein. Messiah Jason
Wherever Rammstein play I will most definatly be next year, bought their live dvd a few months ago and it's amazing! It would be nice if they played Reading but it probably will be Download I guess, my download regular friends tells me every year they're going to play so it would be good for him if he was right for once. Lithium05
Blasphemy Given some thought, I think if i could choose...... My headliners on the main stage for next year would be something like this Blink 182--------------Beastie Boys----------System of a Down Weezer----------------Faith No More---------Rammstein Jimmy Eat world------Aphex twin------------Korn Papa Roach-----------Daft Punk--------------Limp Bizkit That would sell me straight away (Maybe got carried away a bit there ) Edited September 8, 2009 by Lithium05

scottt
Rammstein arent big enough with the R/L crowd to headline. And playing beneathe the headliner with all their affects etc wont happen. will steal the show. They will headline Download or Sonisphere. Probably Download. they ask them every year
