Yeah so obviously KOL are massive etc and many people will have bought tickets to see them more than most bands on the bill, but the tent capacity for FNM was drastically low, don't ya think? They were probably the best band I saw all weekend.

They were the best band I've seen all year.. Mike Patton is the most incredible front man.

Sadly BBC doesn't have much/any video of the set online now and keep taking down peoples uploads to the youtubes...

i was on the barrier so never saw how small the crowd was, everyone was singing loud though fantastic end to the weekend, was obviously a few day ticketers there but the crowd at their own gig was absolutely crazy (as you would expect really), people waiting a decade for this band to reform arn't going to stand back and nod their heads

defiantly my band of the weekend! what an amazing show! mike is seriously one of the best frontmen ive seen and his vocal range is incredible! f**k KOL is all i can say!

I didn't see them or KOL, but do you think they would have suited the main stage headline slot? I can't help but feel that due to the overall lineup not enough people would have turned up to watch them?

yeah i'm not sure at reading/leeds they would've pulled in a big enoughcrowd to headline the mainstage, and if they played on that stage that's the only position i'd want to seem them in.

they were perfect headlining the tent, and mike patton was incredible, stole the festival really...xx

i ended up going back to my tent to drink while faith no more was on, because the majority of our group either wanted to see kings of leon who i think are dire, or just wanted to get drunk. could hear fnm from our tent though and they sounded amazing! wish i went to see them now.

Excellent band. I'm glad the crowd wasn't huge for them, at least you know that everyone there watching them was there for the music and not because they're the latest trend.

I worked on the latest FNM best of and managed to see them at Brixton (2/5) Download (3/5) and then third times the charm 10/5 at Reading, absoloutely stonking performance. Definitely the right billing on that tent as they made for an excellent closing act and quite frankly, what a show. People were walking past, walking in and literally being converted to FNM fans. Beautiful.
