luckysalt
Thats confusing, can you do day splits? And after he pulled out this year I don't think Seasick Steve will ever play at V and I don't think Sam Sparro will be asked back to V after A- he fell off the planet and B- he pulled out of V last minute last time he was booked to hang out with Lindsey Lohan, apparently V were very angry with him Edited September 13, 2009 by luckysalt

thetime
I still think they should think out of the box and get bob dylan and the cure to headline!

luckysalt
Nice list VCK, but think the acts need to swap stages around a bit Like Glasvegas, think they would be on second or third stage, or even 4th stage headliner Edited September 14, 2009 by luckysalt
luckysalt
Right then, I think this is a very V friendly line up, Main Stage is finished but the other stages are not MAIN STAGE KASABIAN KYLIE THE FRATELLIS DOVES SCOUTING FOR GIRLS DIZZEE RASCAL FLORENCE & THE MACHINE NOAH AND THE WHALE 4MUSIC FAITHLESS FEEDER LA ROUX FRIENDLY FIRES FOALS TRAVIS HOCKEY THE ARENA FLEET FOXES KT TUNSTALL GASLIGHT ANTHEM UNION STAGE GLASVEGAS ------------------------------------------ MAIN STAGE ARCTIC MONKEYS FRANZ FERDINAND BLACK EYED PEAS DUFFY WHITE LIES THE HOOSIERS IGLU & HARTLEY TURIN BRAKES 4MUSIC BEASTIE BOYS FALL OUT BOY THE CRIBS JAMIE T KATE NASH THE ARENA SCISSOR SISTERS BAT FOR LASHES MIKA HARD FI JLS UNION JUSTICE

Phil-itfc
couple of odd suggestions amongst those! Justice in the union is unlikely they'd headline or play 2nd top of the Arena. and also Gaslight would be bumped up to 2nd stage rather than arena. tho it'd be ace to see them play the arena I'd see them making the step up to playing Reading main stage. thetime
Can't see kasabian headlining when there not even playing arenas yet.

Flaminglippy
Unlikely I'll go to V next year to be honest (but did have a great weekend this year mainly due to some great performances by Elbow, Specials, Dizzee, Killers, One Eskimo, Exit Calm) but if the following play...(not in order...) Arctics/Foo's/REM Flaming Lips Super Furrys Franz Ferdinand Doves Elbow Public Enemy Kanye West Nick Cave Roots Manuva Teenage Fanclub British Sea Power Flight of The Conchords Shed Seven Ian Brown Manics Cribs ...I'd be very tempted Edited September 16, 2009 by Flaminglippy
Bunny
I have tried to be realistic - without losing too much of the "fantasy" element..... Sat - Main Stage : Foo Fighters The Stereophonics Florence and the Machine Friendly Fires Girls Aloud Just Jack The Divine Comedy Bootleg Beatles Sun - Main Stage : Kings of Leon Kasabian The Zutons David Gray New Order Pixie Lott The Magic Numbers King Blues Sat - 4 Music Stage : Damien Rice Supergrass Vampire Weekend The Cribs Happy Mondays Gomez Ladyhawke Shed Seven Kid British (Road to V winner) Sun - 4 Music Stage : Kylie Minogue Primal Scream Hot Chip The Gaslight Anthem Little Boots Lupe Fiasco Badly Drawn Boy The Twang Ben's Brother (Road to V winner) Sat - The Arena : Basement Jaxx The Klaxons Duffy Belle and Sebastian M.I.A Alesha Dixon Chipmunk Paloma Faith The Bees Tommy Sparks Sun - The Arena : Groove Armada Jamie T Graham Coxon Sugababes Travis Booty Luv Fun Lovin Criminals Dan Le Sac vs Scroobious Pip Mini Viva Mike Snow I think that could be pretty realistic.............. tweemo freak
Basment Jaxx are quite likely. Calvin Harris and Kate Nash are also possible. Headliners Arctic Monkeys and Blur?
danny12345
I think everybodys overlooking the fact that there will be plenty of new pop acts to add to what we had this year. For example... Lady Gaga will be bumped up to main stage, Pixie Lott to channel 4 and these two will be replaced with more pop in their respective Arena spots. Im going regardless but this whole pop takeover is only gonna get worse!

PaulDavis
I think we all now know, Pop is making a very hard and quick comeback looking at the charts? Look at bloody Pitbull!
