System, are / were way bigger than Manson. And its not just because they broke up and then reformed that they'd warrent a headline slot, its beacuse there a massive band who have had a lot of success.

But i am just convinced S.O.A.D headlining would be a much bigger draw for a festival like reading than kasabian who have toured to death recently

To be fair Kasabian haven't played Reading in years. They only did one UK fest this year and none last year. Although yes, they were all over the place in 2007.

And I wouldn't compare them to KOL, Arctics and The Killers as they're much better live than any of those three!

The main problem is if they had a Heavy/Old school rock day on the Main stage, they would fil the NME and (I'd assume) Dance stage with all your turgid NME acts. I used to quite enjoy the Dance tent but this year it was hoerrible and full of pretentious little f**ks.
