Too many American bands

Yeah. I also dislike the tweeness of the British accent in music - see Noah and the Whale... vomit. Thought that the lineup this year was amazing - Neko Case was a good choice!!

One british band that could headline and would fit..........The Waterboys.

Mind I did hear a while back that they tended to price themselves out of many festivals reach, think Mike Scott might feel differently though if he knew what the festival was like.

If you all spent more time at the Cider Bus you wouldn't care about the Nationality of the bands. I personally just want to listen to them - not check their passports.

By the way, there's a great Afghan bluegrass ensemble just waiting to get onto next years billing. 'Country & Eastern' it might catch on.

A British Band that would work well at EOTR would be The Bookhouse Boys . . .

It was the Scandi & US / Canadian stuff that bought me to EOTR, I can count the UK bands I like / would fork out for on one hand I agree with the NME by numbers approach to a lot of UK independant bands - so many of them are interchangeable and downright boring.
