kev1664
I for one am personally looking forward to Biffys new album (5th in total), and going to see them in November. Do you think these guys will grow bigger once again after their new album? I personally am predicting bigger and better things for Biffy over the next year and a half, maybe a step up to arena tours. I'm also hoping that if they are playing at R/L next year that they will be slotted in a high spot, maybe third down on the main or headlining the NME tent. Personally I couldn't believe they were place below the fratellis(3rd main after 2 albums) and the enemy(4th main after 1 album). I think Biffy as a band are a lot better than whats out there at the minute. The certainly have more charisma than the arctics (who I like and am going to see again in November). They also have a good back catalogue. Whats your feelings for the Biff?
tomdsjames
I predict they'll get bigger. Both singles so far from the album (Mountains, That Golden Rule) have been received quite well and I can see The Captain doing well in the charts - it's one of the poppiest songs they've done. Their back catalogue is just amazing, I love 'em and would be glad to have them back next year despite them only playing in '08 (it's better than having Bloc party again)
Lithium05
I reckon they'll play anywhere they're asked to at any festival. I expect them to do Download, IOW, TITP, Reading, Leeds, Glasto, V, Oxygen, Guilfest and any others I'm forgetting. They're tour whores. They'd probably play my living room for a tenner if I asked them to! Edited September 17, 2009 by Lithium05

VCK
Yeah, I reckon they have a good chance. 3rd/4th/5th again on Main or NME headline.

she bangs the drums
A band I used to love but I've given up on after the last time they played Leeds and could only be bothered in playing one song from there previous 3 albums and pretty much all of there new chart success one. No Just Boy no Glitter and Trauma just this:- Saturday Superhouse Who's Got a Match? A Whole Child Ago 9/15ths Love Has A Diameter Mountains Get f**ked Stud Machines Now I'm Everyone Living Is a Problem Because Everything Dies 57 I'm glad thay they found much deserved success which I didn't mind however its just reeks of complete sell outs to me not catering for the loyal fans that have followed them over the years. I'd rather they stick to playing to there new found fans at V festival.

tweemo freak
3rd/4th from headlining. I could envision this: Muse The Strokes Biffy Clyro The Cribs/Ash quite easily.
inspectedinspector
Plus the album was a sucess, but they didn't really write it to 'sell out' it was written by Simon as reguards to the death of his mother. It wasn't thier fault that it became successful to others and the charts. You can generally get a feel if an artist has sold out but I didn't get this from puzzle, its still different from everything out there and the Biffy style never really left. thomasowen
... But then Mountains was released! Which was even more pants than Puzzle and the Captain also sounds utter shite. They said they had a pop album in them, Puzzle was it and it should have stopped there.
inspectedinspector
They have always had pop elements they have just been made more obvious

olly!olly!olly!
I would like Biffy to play, although i dont really like the newer singles I've heard. I reckon a 3rd main stage spot is as high as they will get, would be cool to see them in a tent again.

Gary
I must say I would be suprised if they are on the main stage. I don't doubt they are big enough but I think they'd make a fantastic headliner for the R1 tent.
