From Sister Bliss...

As u may already know we've been very busy in the studio making new music, some of which I've been testing out during my dj jaunts across the globe, and not only that, but this week we've been rehearsing to bring to you a new vision of Faithless- We proudly present the 'Faithless Soundsystem'!!! This is a chance for you to get up close and personal with us and to hear some of our new music live and direct as it unfolds...

This will be a both a sonic and visual experience brought to you by the multi-talented Mistress of Rhythm Sudha, alongside myself and the Master MC Maxi Jazz! We play our first show this Friday, alongside Mr Pete Tong at the Wonderland closing party Ibiza.... so we really hope you can all come and enjoy the party.

They were utterly brilliant at Glasto that year. That was my first Glasto as well, and the first band there I really wanted to see that week-end.

The moment won't ever leave me.

As for this time around, I hope the so called bad blood between the festival and them can be sorted out, and they play on Sunday night on the Other Stage. I'd love that.

in your humble opinion mate :D in mine the 2002 show pissed all over it. maybe cos it was the sunset gig, maybe the crowd were more up for it (if possible - every crowd I've ever been at a faithless gig has been mental for em) and maybe simply the huge numbers gathered there added to the atmosphere

it was a supreme gig imo and its been far to long since theyve been back

Oh 2002 was very good don't get me wrong.

But I still think their Jazzworld set a few years before was better - and it certainly had a better, more up-for-it crowd. Who played after Faithless on the Pyramid? Coldplay. Say no more! :)

i dont always subscribe to the headline acts defining the crowds at stages

I don't subscribe to it at all .... but never the less, there were lots of people watching Faithless who had little interest in them, and were there to see Coldplay that followed them.

Main stages particularly 'suffer' from them having a 'stay there all day' crowd, who'll remain in place whoever is on that stage without any particular regard to who is on that stage. The same thing doesn't really happen for other stages, at least not to anything like the same extent.

Faithless. Their time has passed.

<Derek Grim> " ...all that hippie, dippy, namby, pamby, hoitie, toitie, wishy, washy, lahdy, dahdy, nostalgic nonsense..." </Derek Grim>

Honestly, theyre about as relevant to me now as Bagpuss. Actually, a little less when I think about it. Bagpuss was cool.
