rexclark
Earlier suspicions that Air may play can be forgotten. They have dates every single day RockNess is on.
Poleski
Bollocks. Hopefully they'll be playing Glastonbury.
Poleski
Pretty certain Soma Records are going to be there again. Or Defo Sub Club. Boom Monk Ben is playing again, he was in the Sub Club curated bollywood wasn't he?
Discobadger
Richie Hawtin? Just announced he is playing as Plastikman at Bestival. could be a shout.
Memory Man
wont be hawtin. only one other UK show this year apart from bestival, so you'd imagine it will be around the time of bestival. my guess is a headline show at brixton, probably not another festival. Winston Smith
"Bestival's late night late night entertainment will include techno legend Richie Hawtin presenting Plastikman Live in one of only two English appearances" Doesn't say anything about Scottish appearances. So I live in hope What do people think the chances of someone like Ricardo Villalobos or Gui Boratto playing??

Winston Smith
Not to high to be fair. Not really fit into the rockness scene.

Who'sme
Thought that'd be the case but someone mentioned Hawtin so I thought it'd be worth a shout.
Winston Smith
You never know. Dubfire played last year and i wouldn't say he exactly fitted the rock ness 'scene' but he was still good. There is always a place for techno!
Elbear
Obviously there is with the David Clarke announcement Hopefully a couple more. Edited February 17, 2010 by Festie--Follower
Grant titp
Here, is it Soma's Dave Clarke, or the other one. I'm sure there was confusion last year over which one was playing.
Poleski
Jack Beats have a cheeky few days clear in they're diary around RockNess. Perhaps they're booked and been told not to put it up on anything. http://www.myspace.com/jackbeats
KeithDelBasso
A bit of Danny Byrd would go down a treat :-)
Memory Man
Villalobos = no chance, can anyone name the last time he played a UK festival that is outside? didnt want to make a new thread, is there actually an announcement this week then of more acts based on Jim's Q+A? I dont expect any radio1 time for it, being as it will most likely be smaller acts from now on but if anyone could clarify a day that would be nice. Who'sme
Dubfire cancelled last year, he was stuck in Heathrow, so it wasn't him you were watching lol...same thing happened to me when I thought I was watching a Pendulum dj set, turns out they cancelled as well but the replacement was brillaint.
