-pogo-
What did everyone think of it, with the departure of Simon Amstell and having Noel Fielding as the permanent host? To be honest, in theory it makes more sense having two permanent team captains rather than only one and a host. At the same time though Amstell was a very very good presenter and it made it obvious when the guest host Corden was doing some of the jokes, in the back of your mind you could imagine Amstell doing them and it being funnier. It works with HIGNFY, and I think it will work with NMTB, but it's still quite rubbish that Amstell left.

Kowalski
Has Amstell left? Will have to start watching it again in that case.
Lithium05
I enjoyed it. I like Noel Fielding, but Cordon gets on my nerves a bit. Jeneane Garofolo (sp?) looked like she regretted agreeing to be on there though!

dakyras
I never thought Amstell was worse than Lamarr, just different. James Corden can f**k right off though.

rexclark
I always quite enjoyed it with Lamarr and Amstell was good also and brougfht something else to the show but I'm really not into the guest presenters thing, especially if it includes that unfunny tosser Cordon. Acquiesce.
Amstell was fantastic. His parts in the Winehouse and Tourette episodes were hilarious. I would welcome back Ricky whatshisface from the Kaiser Chumps as host. One, he was hilarious, and two, it would keep him from writing god awful music for a short while. rachbon
i liked it when mark lamar presented it but towards the end he just became quite nasty to some of the guests and he wasn't funny anymore. i thought simon amstell was an odd choice at first but he was brilliant, better than mark lamar. he was really funny and he managed to slag people off without crossing the line into nasty like lamar did at times. i liked it the last time they had guest presenters. ricky wilson and jeremy clarkson were both very good. i think it's a good idea having guest presenters but there are only so many people who are suited to that role. i haven't watched the episode with james corden because he's a total c**t. he is one of the least funny people on telly. really can't stand him. Purple Monkey
Lamarr was great, but I thought Amstell was easily the best. His attacks on Donny Tourette (unbelievable w*nker) were pure genius. Amstell was also a nice guy to the nice people, I liked his sarcastic jibes at the likes of Jamelia and Lily Allen, but I never thought he overstepped the mark, he was always funny and nothing felt that malicious because they'd send it right back at him, and he would let them have the last word when you know he could let rip. He often let the "good" guests have their pop at him. He was only a relentless prick to the utter nobends on the show, and it was always funny. James Corden - I just don't get it. The hosts on Buzzcocks are meant to be witty, not just loud and popular with retards. Who's next? Chris Moyles? Noel Fielding is great but he needs to bounce off someone - he's famous for being part of a double act.
