I read to day that Noel Fielding said that Simon Amstell ruined the show as people are scared to come on it now. I disagree, It started getting shit when Fielding started on it, more the loss of Bill Bailey. Bailey was weird but at least when he did it, it was funny. I get bored of Fielding talking about seeing a badger wearing a cravate smoking a pipe and other stupid shite.

Fielding takes the prize though ... I mean, he even wore a cape once. He should have been beheaded for that.

Tonight's episode was a classic. Unsurprisingly so with the combination of Jack Dee as host, Jedward on Noel's team and Pat Sharpe in the Identity line up. The script writers/question setters had a lot of fun. Bloody hilarious show.

Last nights was ok but nothing new. I'm pretty sure Jedward know what they're doing, getting a bit of a ribbing is nothing to them. They work with Keith Lemon weekly FFS. I thought Jack Dee was pretty good but the addition of Katie Brand to the show ruined it. She's one of the most unfunny people I've ever seen and the worst thing is she thinks she's hillarious. The only decent thing she's did is appear in Peep Show.

it was a hilarious episode but the way it was built up, i expected jedward to get more of a slagging.

i don't know why anyone would feel sorry for them, it wasn't any worse than the slaggings dappy has had, or pete burns back in the mark lamar days. they know what their job is, to act like idiots and have the piss ripped out of them. if they actually manage to understand any of the jokes, i doubt they are bothered by them.

Haven't seen last nights yet, but totally agree with this. I think David Walliams as host said it perfectly "Is there anything you don't allow on the Boosh tour?... Jokes?..." - which I guess works on a sitcom or whatever you want to call Boosh, but not on a panel show.

(Ironically the reply of "Catchphrases" was possibly the only funny thing Noel has ever said on the show)
