i thought juliette lewis was awful, she was really slow at reading the autocue, didn't seem to understand any of the jokes and could only seem to say jokes that were written for her. they need a presenter who can think of jokes on the spot and have a laugh with the guests, she was rubbish at that.

I'd realised who you meant after I'd started writing something about Lightspeed Champion not being dead (which I then of course changed).

Just to carry on with the tangent you've started, there's also at least several hundred million other people that you don't know who have also died since that guy last appeared on Buzzcocks.

all this reminds me of is how different a show it is these days

mark lammarr days it was actually about music and the funny bits were hilarious! they've turned it into just a celeb edition of mock the week now. least that's how i look at it.

I prefered Lamarr but I thought Amstell was pretty good, the only area he beat Lamarr in was going after the shit guests.

I remember when Amstell 1st came on the show as a guest he made a joke and Lamarr came upto him and said "that's my boy" and patted him on the back.

They need to stop with these guest presenters, it's killing the show more than anything else.

i thought when they did guests inbetween lammarr and amstell, it was good. but it's rotten nowadays. it's either hit or miss and it's more often miss than not.

just think amstell changed it too much and made it more interviewy and more about the guests than it should be. and everyone seems to be following his lead. or being told to by the producers. either way, i've given up with it.

lammarr did rip into guest but it was different. he didn't have to do 'oh isn't it nice to have so and so on the show. let's talk about your new single'.
