Looking at the GFS charts from Netweather, I have deduced thus:

Wednesday: Dry. Nice and warm. Excellent. B)

Thursday: Some showers. But overall, nice and warm.

Friday: Dry. Nice and warm, but not quite as warm as Wednesday.

Saturday: Rain. A fair amount. Therefore wet. Much cooler too.

Sunday: Some showers. An improvement on Saturday temperature wise.

Overall, MILES better than yesterday. The first few days look pretty damn good.

I'm going for similar to 2004, though not quite as wet. Somewhere between 2004 and 2008.

The latest GFS is not good, a deepish low pressure centered over the West of Ireland developing for the weekend.

Quite wet for the weekend probably.

Hope it's an outlier because it bucks the recent trend. Ensembles out soon.

Here is today's analysis of the models out so far.

GFS 06Hz The low pressure to the west of the UK early next week, struggles to make much eastward progress. So with the possible exception of some very weak frontal rain on Thursday, the only precipition until the Sunday, would be from showers, which do have he potential to be thundery agian.

I want this weekend's weather.

The forecasts from what I've seen, all look pretty good. I'm expecting some rain at some point, and if it's going to come then it's best on Sunday when the potential mud isn't going to get too deep.

The weather for Leeds last year was like that and the only band it rained properly during as Placebo, which was incredibly atmospheric.
