At least this means we can go back to hating on The Mail again! It must be a lie designed to upset those damn hippies at Glastonbury.

According to the forecast I saw this morning, this warm weather will last until early next week. Then it would be nice if we got another bath of cold, wet weather out of the way, then the sun can return from the third weekend in June onwards.

Our lass bought some new wellies the other day actually, so she's doing her bit towards making it hot, sunny and dry! I encourage everyone else to do the same.

guys guys guys, there's NO way to tell what the weather will be doing in the last week of June.

At best the forecast is *sort* of accurate 4 days out, and a small wind direction change can cause a massive change in the weather.

I know it's fun to speculate but ultimately you're wasting your time :P:P

Check the forecast at the Met Office from about June 19th and you'll a better idea of the trend...

I've been having dreams since about December that I arrive at Glasto without a tent (I put mine in the bin last year with my car keys!!) and have to sleep in a big one with nothing in it, and it's not waterproof and it rains and I get soaked!

ERGO - if I buy a lovely new waterproof tent, this shall not happen and there shall be no rain!

Also, did anyone else watch the Glasto/Michael Eavis program 2 years ago where he was talking about the trees coming into leaves (or whatever the expression is) He was talking about the trees and which leaved up first and how it is quite accurate with the weather:

"Ash before Oak, you're in for a soak, Oak before Ash, you're in for a splash"

Can anyone find out which one got leaves first this year??!! :P:P:P

We could be in for a warm one!

While the outlook for the long term is difficult to predict, independent forecaster Positive Weather Solutions (PWS) said it is confident this summer will be good.

"The pattern through June is unlikely to be all that stable, so expect some rain as we pass through mid-month, although again, there will be some pleasant sunshine from time to time, keeping temperatures on the warm to possibly very warm side," said PWS' Jonathan Powell.

I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?

So do not worry, saying, "What shall we eat?" or "What shall we drink?" or "What shall we wear?" For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Bring on the sun please! Though a happy medium between sun, nice breezes and cool nights would be lovely

Had a client meeting today so had the suit & tie on. Meeting at 9:00am, quite warm, bit uncomfortable. Came out at just before 11 and it was blindingly bright sunshine and red hot. Getting in the car felt like a hire car on holiday - it was like and oven. Tie off, sleeves rolled up, windows down, lovely. God, I hope it's like this in a months time.
