If the appropriate negotiators from the UN arrive in time, I am willing to downgrade my lack of compromise to "same as the last two years". I will be demanding an increase of 5-7 Degrees on Friday, Saturday and Sunday in return for this concession (centigrade of course).

After further thought, anyone who accepts this weekend's weather needs their head testing. Sunday - absolute fine. It'd stick with that but Saturday - hell no. Rancid weather.

I'm not prepared to compromise on the heat JUST yet, that can wait until nearer the time, but I maintain that rain is not acceptable, and we must NEVER compromise on it. Saturday's weather at Glasto would be a disaster.

No rain. No compromise.

Hmmm:

'Monday 14 June 2010 to Sunday 27 June 2010

Low pressure greets high summer

The sun is now at its strongest, heating things up quickly given half a chance. But low pressure, taking up residence near our shores, will help suck the warm air up to form big clouds and heavy downpours.

This combination of heat and water causes the atmosphere to become increasingly highly charged with energy; and thunder and lightning are nature's way of releasing that energy.

Expect interruptions to the first week of Wimbledon!'

This is the bbc monthly forecast btw, updated this morning.

Not sure whether this has been posted already but it looks good so this is the one I'm taking notice of:

June

Temperature: Slightly above average

Precipitation: Slightly below average

A spell of rather warm and dry weather is expected to develop early on as high pressure builds across the country. This is likely to break with showers or longer spells of rain returning during the second week of the month. As well as turning less settled temperatures will also fall. Towards the middle of the month drier and warmer conditions may well begin to return.

The second half of the month is expected to bring a lot of fine and settled weather to southern parts in particular, although the north should also have fine weather at times. The settled conditions may well last for much of the second half of the month, possibly becoming very warm at times in the south. Overall temperatures should be above average during the entire period.

Also, with bad weather in the second week of June it has enough time to get that out of its system and then it will turn warm again just in time for glasto...simples!

I AM going, even if it's a complete mudbath.

But it doesn't mean I won't be a moaning bastard to anyone within a 5 metre radius. This mood may recede during key performances over the weekend.

Rain and mud makes Langdale Wolf a grumpy old man.

Think of Tommy from Early Doors and you're there.

SUN. Get your arse in gear. You're needed.

No, if it's muddy, you're going to help me kill others.

Example - those annoying cockwombles who jump around in the mud wearing furry wellies and fairy wings in front of the BBC cameras.

You HAVE to help me mate - the hacksaws I ordered from eBay arrived yesterday. I even asked them to create custom hacksaws with squad numbers on the handles. Yours has Buddhafish 69 on it like you asked.

Don't be a prat and kill yourself - bone is too tough for one person to cut through without a bit of help.

Honestly. So selfish.

:O Whats this? You are even considering the possibility of something other than a heatwave! Get out of it Langdale! I thought you were more optimistic than this!

No compromise!!! ;)

21st June 2010 - I'll start believing the weather forecast - until then, I will only listen to positive ones and I'll be discounting negative ones.

My local weather report for last week forecast rain from Monday to Saturday, it didn't arrive until the Saturday so it was wrong every day!
