Havingjust seen the latest GFS models I'd advise everyone to look away, still in the long range but if it were to come off it would be the worst possible outcome. Low pressure takes over from a glorious High just as the crowds head to the Somerset, stays wet throughout.

Let's write that off as a glitch, I still think it'll be glorious

Looking at all that, I have a sinking feeling. That low pressure needs to stay the f**k away BIG TIME - we're looking at mud central if it stays like that. :O:o:O

Still 2 weeks to go though, and not 24 hours ago, it looked fine. How quickly things can change. They bloody well better change again.

I've made an executive decision to stop hanging round here like some sad sun groupie until the data improves, which from what those in the know seem to be saying is about 10 days out, i.e. Monday. Worrying about the weather with nothing credible to go on is giving me worry lines.....

don't worry this chart shows that there is complete non-agreement with the scenario for the festival. This is courtesy of www.netweather.tv, hope they do not mind me posting it, there are a number of runs completed every 6 hours and you can see how in the short term models are more accurately forecasting the weather - the further out you get the less agreement. This is showing high/low pressure forecast for somerset

It's a dream run, with warm sunshine and just the outside chance of some light rain early on Sunday morning. I'll bank that one. Every model has settled weather out to next Sunday so I would say the signs are increasingly good.

At least it doesn't look like low pressure will be in charge. Low pressure brought the regular rain of 2004/2007 which meant the ground never had a chance to dry. They were by far my least enjoyable Glastonburys.
