honey_d
The latest runs are no better (18z), going on the last few runs the best we can hope for is a few showers maybe none to heavy, the worse: 2007.

cheekycheeky
Wow your cup is half empty The best we can hope for is a dry Glasto with fun and cider. What happens in reality is a different matter, but never give up hope (I reserve the right to change my mind next Monday)

Sawdusty surfer
looking good up to the thursday....ok this is for Taunton whick is only 20 miles away as the crow flies. good news for everyone involved in the build on site. to everyone on here worrying about a muddy one....consider the people that are involved in providing all the stuff at the festival. if it is a wet one they also mhave to deal with a massive clean up afterwards. we take several tons of wood there which nmay end up needing to resanded , polished and oiled. it'll be fine this year, i can feel it in my juices http://uk.weather.com/weather/10day-Taunton-UKXX0309 edit..missed out the link Edited June 15, 2010 by jamesontheverge
amfy
A couple of weeks back i said that I had a hunch that traditionally, the weather of 4 weeks before was the weather you get - well that latest acuweather forecast is it! At the time i said I could live with it - and at this stage i think i stand by that! If the weather gods could see their way to working on saturday a bit though, it'd be much appreciated! glastofever
Glastonbury Festival Braces Itself For Rain added 09 June 2010 at 14.52 There’s two weeks to go, it’s not looking good for sunshine... Met Office officials have said it’s likely that this year’s Glastonbury Festival will be hit by showers. Mixed weather conditions for June will likely mean a muddy site, although it’s not thought that the weather will be as severe as that seen in 2005 amd 2007. Speaking to the Mirror newspaper, Met Office weather forecaster Sarah Holland admitted there would be “changeable conditions”, with a sunny weekend seeming very unlikely indeed. http://www.xfm.co.uk/news/2010/glastonbury-festival-braces-itself-for-rain

worthyraver
Probably best I dont mention the 00z run Norwegians still trying their best, until Thursday at any rate: We love Norway Edited June 15, 2010 by worthyraver
Mr Weazle
I know that the forecasts are on a knife edge, but I genuinely feel confident. And to back this up, the latest ECM has high pressure over Glastonbury until Friday and looking very warm. It's going to be great, trust me. worthyraver
Link? The netweather 00z run shows a pretty horrible Thursday and Friday, but otherwise mainly dry. Certainly not great, and we need to avoid that, but that's nowhere near a 2007.
Langdale Wolf
Once Thursday and Friday are washouts, and with coldish temperatures throughout, there will be no sitting on the grass from Thursday. Even a semi-dry festival is looking like a long-shot, unless of course we see a switch in trends but that switch need s to happen by Friday.
