i think the tent we've got is a crappy pop up one but i'll stick it in with my other luggage and have a small rucksack of clothes as my hand luggage. I'm well excited now! Are there decent places to buy food and beer around the campsites? With it being just me and one friend travelling from frankfurt by public transport, I'm not sure how much stuff we can comfortably carry on top of what we're bringing from england. Does about £400 sound about right for food, drink, travel to and from frankfurt airport and a couple of bits of merch?

From what I've heard the food is more diverse. Not all campsides have foodstalls, just some smaller shops selling supplies, but close to the main entrance and the disco tent outside there are lots of food stalls.

I hope Stone Sour won't cancel their tour . It would be big disappointment for me. Of course it's huge loss for whole music .

What is best way to get there by car? Which highways? Is it very far from parking lots to camping sites?

Well, you know, Google map exists. I'll go down the A2 to Dortmund, then the A1 to Bonn and follow tihe signs from there, anyways (Seriously, how are we supposed to know from where you ravel and, assuming it's England, how you wanna cross the channel???, and, as written in the FAQ, Nürburgring is written on the signs of the Autobahn when you are close.

Next to each camping side there is a parking lot. so from car to tent it is not far at all, but it may be from the tent to the stages, depending on when you arrive.

It's too late to change the schedule now! I just don't want to be as far back as we were before! we must have been about 2 miles away from the arena area, and with a broken leg it was horrible!

what time does everyone normally start arriving on the wednesday morning? we're stopping on route in Cologne for the night for some beers then driving the last hour or so in the morning...

Thinking about getting there for around 9am, does anyone else do the same to avoid traffic

Then you shouldn't have anything to worry about vespa, apart from 8 crates!! Will that be enough?

whats the prices like for food and drink at the stall at rock am ring?

Can't remember exactly but prices are reasonable, beer are a few sheckles say about 3 or 4 euro and a euro deposit, food between 5 and 8 depending on what you want to eat. Of course the exchange rate for the GBP means it might seem more expensive, in which case important to pre-load before you go in and take a tetra-pak.

these tetra-pak's can you fill them up with vodka and coke and such? or do they have to be sealed?
