Alright All.

I have been to Glasto for the last 2 years..Brilliant.

But have never noticed? I now have the use of a works transit van and cant remember if Vans park in the same fields as the cars..and is the charge the same ..this year i see its 15 quid for cars.

It maybe posted somewhere but cant seem to see anything.

Nice one and thanks for your help and comments.

Cheers..the batman.

Yes, no, I don't know.

Cost should be the same. Whether you will be directed into a separate field will depend on the stewarding at the time. But either you will end up in exactly the same field as the rest of the cars or you will be in one next to them. Sometimes minibuses are shown into a different field, but it does seem to vary.

Either way it shouldn't be any problem - just buy your normal car parking ticket in advance (or pay on the way in).

Cost of parking is the same for your van if it's staying in the public car park.

The stewards try to keep the vans seperate as much as possible so that they can keep them more secure. Due to the height of the vehicles and lack of windows through them, the opportunity for crime with vans is much higher, hence kept in one field and patrolled more often.
