Guest
NME's announcement Bands have done massive shows and headlined major festivals in the same summer before, but this would make Green Day less likely imo.
Lithium05
Yes. I reckon that rules them out. Also.... I called this one months ago
beLIEveR
You'd think it rules them out. Then again, it could make them cheaper.

thomasowen
No. It rules them out. If they're doing Stadium shows it's not in FR's best interests to book them, as any fans who want to see them will have the oppertunity to do so at their own shows. That works the other way round too (playing the festivals might hurt the sales of their own tickets). So I doubt either side will want to risk it. The only way I might be wrong is if FR really don't give a shit about exclusivity and book them because they know they'll sell out anyway. Either way I hope this news doesn't leave us with another Indie snooze-fest.
rexclark
They've came out and said they want toplay Glastonbury, whether Glastonbury would want them is a different case entirely.

Im_in_a_tent
It's spelt "holiness", and "hes" should be "he's". Other than that you're spot on... apart from a few more minor punctuation errors.

r0w
Just confirmed for Rock Werchter in Belgium. So they are doing festivals - makes them very likely now for Reading/Leeds now id say
pigshair123
They fact that they are playing a Belgium festival does not make it more likely for Reading/Leeds as last time i looked at a map Manchester and Wembley were in England not Belgium
