rexclark
that would be the dream, sadly it's very likely to remain a dream.

rexclark
why would a festival book an act that wouldn't be popular? completely backwards.
rockinthecasbah
If they had any balls they'd book an act like Daft Punk, it wouldn't be popular but at leat it'd be better than Kasabian etc....
rexclark
I'm not so sure it wouldn't be popular. Amongst most people I know, whose musical tastes differ greatly, Daft Punk would an be immensely popular booking, and there seems to be pretty good support for them on here (I know it's not a complete representation of the festival.) In fairness to FR though, I've no idea whether Daft Punk would be willing to play, and they're not exactly known for regular appearances. However, if they're willing to play then they should definitely be booked, especially given the increasing lack of potential headliners for next year. thetime
they might play but there isnt the slightest chance in the world there going to headline.
