The prime reason is that the car park is 5-10 mins walk from your tent. That’s it. When you’re 60+, the walk from the outer West car parks to the camping sites lugging all your stuff in blazing heat/pissing rain just isn’t easily do-able. At £225 each for a 2-man scout (£45 p/day) it’s worth every penny. Glastonbury is basically an annual holiday. 

The fact they're on a stadium run next summer and have top spot at Isle of Wight makes me think they would possibly pass on it.   A marquee "special guests" tag and a longer sub set - seventy-five rather than an hour - could persuade otherwise. 

Would be a very good booking, though not sure if they'd go to top the Other. Definitely one under cover of darkness.

Hmmm. I'm not sure. Think the fact he's into stadiums and got the R+L top spot under his belt means he's got more staying power at the top end.   Comparative shout would be Biffy Clyro, perhaps - R+L toppers in 2013, though they never got into stadiums either.
