charley
Having seen Skunk last night on the first night of their reunion, I can honestly say they could play anywhere on the bill at Reading, for me they would be a brilliant headliner (unlikely i know). It was a seriously good show last night with Skin on top form walking across the crowds shoulders while doing Weak and climbing the rigging to the balcony and leading a conga around the seats upstairs. There were a few new songs which were well up to standard too. It would be a shame for me if they played mid afternoon which would seem likely i think headlining they would absolutely smash it. Sparticus
i imagine they could headline the tent, which would be better for them really. Consider when their heyday was, and the age demographic, i'd wager that 60% of people at the fest wouldn't have the faintest idea who they are. rivalschools.price
yes please.saw them about 10 years ago in finsbury park.awesome, tho skin scared me a little bit with her insane stare. #shudders#
thetime
cant see them coming close to headline either the tent or main stage, perhaps late afternoon main stage. but would go down a treat, i remember seeing them headline glasto at the back end of the last decade, but its going to be the same old bands headline im afraid. theleedslads
Saw them last night in Leeds. Absolutley f**king AMAZING!!! Ive seen so many great bands / performances over the years but this was the best by a mile! She was stage diving, crowd walking, climbing the lighting rigs and on to the balconys, and bouncing around the stage throughout the set, the band were heavy, sounded amazing as did her voice! I was stunned! waited so long to see them, and fitted in all the songs i wanted to hear including heavier stuff like Little Baby Swastika, Hotel TV,.... They said see you in the Summer, so maybe a few festivals and another tour?! Oh they played new songs too (1 that isnt even one of the 3 tracks on greatest hits album just released) They said they have a new album coming out soon too. You MUST catch them on this tour!!! Will post a link to my video from the night in this thread soon.... THERE BACK and STUNNING!
rexclark
Didn't like them first time around, can't see them being any better now.
luckysalt
I can see them playing V over Reading and Leeds to be honest, you just get the older crowd at V who would remember them from the 90's. I can also see them playing Sonisphere and Download over Reading and Leeds, I think they would be more appreciated there than Reading and Leeds

Vieuphoria
would definatly want them there.... but i think they wouldn't get the crowd plus they would get a silly low booking too.

Vieuphoria
Yeah but when you look at some bands who have played recently... i doubt SA woudl appeal to the crowd. I think if they were announced straight off then they would get a crowd... unlike FNM who didnt and suffered with a smaller crowd because of it. But i really wanted tickets to the reunion gig, couldnt go though But yes... woudl love them to headline the Tent, or be liek 5th main?? maybe 4th dunno. Would be great though
theleedslads
HERES THE VIDEO COMPILATION I DID FROM LAST NIGHTS SKUNK ANANSIE GIG IN LEEDS, REALLY WAS INCREDIBLE!
theramm
Looking at this years main stage R&L seemed to promote a lot of current/trendier acts rather than proven live acts (FNM playing in the tent). No-one will care that Skunk Anansie previously headlined Glasto. They'd probably end up playing underneath La Roux
