Noticed on here that The Fly seems to be a fan favorite among eFesters, but I never really saw all the fuss - but I just watched this!

OMG

Is there a video of HMTMKMKM out there that will sway me like this one has? :(

I would never class myself as a U2 fan/afficionado but I look at those setlists and recognise a good 80% of those songs.f**king massive massive band, and you realise how big a booking it is.

Yeah, I'd say that 80% will rise to at least 90% for Glastonbury.

To be fair - love them or hate them - they would definitely have the strongest catalogue, purely in terms of just how many of their songs are so very, very widely well known, of any 'current' band. I think a lot of people don't realise just how many U2 songs they do actually know, and that they probably know at least the chorus for most of them. I don't think there'll be too many songs where it's only the U2 fans leading the singalong.

Throw in that this is a really huge event for the band, within the history of the band (there is no doubt the band themselves see this as *the* big gig for them), and mix to that the fact that they are throwing a bomb at the production, and toss in the fact that U2 have pretty much made a career out of not just rising to the occasion but generally going above and beyond expectations, and all in all it's fair to say it will probably be a pretty good gig.

Great news.

That version of the Fly is amazing and I was lucky enough to see it in my first ever U2 concert.

I'd love to hear discotheque, Mofo, last night on Earth and Gone from Pop but to be honest, a greatest hits set is going to be epic.
