I think:

Oklahoma and My Fair Lady etc = hilarious.

Les Mis and Cats etc = kill me.

It's not homosexual though. My boyfriend keeps trying to make me watch Bridezillas on Fiver saying "you HAVE to watch she's such a BITCH". He also watched Sex and the City the other day. That seems a tiny bit gay. :P

rocky horror's a great night out; been a few times; last one we went out clubbing in plymouth afterwards, basque, stocking, suspenders, high heels etc; was about 15 of us during the show, pretty much half guys/half girls, but only 2 other guys and 6 or so of the girls stayed out for the club: us thinking it'll be fine and there'll be loads dressed up being rocky horror that night....

...2 other people dressed up in the whole club, both girls :P

Was a quality night though: didn't go about 5 minutes without being groped :P

Blood Brothers is the best musical I've ever seen. The Lion King was impressive with all the effects and everything, but for one to get me all emotional, it's got to be Blood Brothers!!

"Living on the never never, constant as the changing weather, never suuuuuuuuuure, who's at the dooooooooor, or the price, I'll have to paaaaaaaaay".

Get's me every time.

Rufus, I have watched musicals from a very young age. Absolutely lurve Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, South Pacific and The King and I. Maybe it was watching these that made me a "deviant" (according to llcoolphil!)!

Seriously though, I don't ever recall seeing any research proving watching musicals can lead to homosexuality! :P

i love musicals....but my parents do too and ive grown up listening to all sorts of different ones. when i was about 10 my parents took me and my sisters to see Phantom of the Opera and my god it was amazing and ive been hooked ever since.

seen the We will rock you a few years ago and alot of people slag it off straight away because it uses queen songs and they should never be mjessed with etc but its a really good musical!!!!

No, Oliver is not awesome. It's cringeworthily terrible. Ah look - a loveable young rogue - let's sing a song. Ah look - a pretty mare going out with a c**t - let's sing a song. Ah look - the pretty mare has a soft spot for one of the loveable young rogues - let's sing a song. Ah look - an old paedophile trying to groom lots of other loveable young rogues - let's sing a song.

F**king riveting.

Has anyone ever tried that Dark Side of the Rainbow thing? Does it work? I tried it once when I was on 'cid, but as far as I can recall, it took me half an hour to turn the telly on, and then one of our party got frightening by the lion roaring at the start.

Anyhow, if it doesn't work, then it wouldn't be gay. It would be inspired.
