got this from the glasto forum.

some was at a gig and said they were playing glastonbury and other festivals, so you got to imagine v will be one of there more likely destinations.

it will be fantastic aswel, I adore this band and there lovely tunes.

When I saw the title...'Magic Numbers Look Possible'...I was expecting the next line to be 'but only if you're E'd off your tits in a circus hall of mirrors in Norfolk'...

But...decent enough band...I'd be happy with them in field in August with a pint to keep me company

Opening the main stage would be alright

They're hardly current so a higher spot won't happen unless they're in a tent

It will be three years since they have played I think?. Thats a decent gap between playing to be honest.

V never seem to book new bands ever, Reading and Leeds will always get the new bands first, I can't actually think of one time that v has booked a hot new band in front of Readng and Leeds

Im sure that was just because Queens of the Stone Age were booked to play as well.

And 2003 is a hell of a long time ago

Theres two other HUGE exceptions to this which I was aware of The Killers and Kings of Leon both played V before Reading. And also so did The Kooks

But these days, as in the last few years, from say 2006 onwards V doesn't seem to take a gamble on newer acts, they always let Reading and Leeds book them first

Think the Magic Numbers will be playing Green Man (based on an e-mail from the organisers saying they've 'got plenty more magic up his sleeve for 2010'. So unless they're Friday headliners then that rules them out of V as well...
