I always remember being the only one of my friends that 'got' Andrew W.K whenever he released I Get Wet. He was a main fixture on MTV2 back in... 2001 (?) or around then, and I thought that he was hilarious; bit like GWAR in that you didn't know whether to take him seriously or not. My friends hated him but you could always guarantee that after a few beers, if the DJ at the local rock club dropped 'Party Hard' into his set, it'd get everybody up.

...so I typed his name into Google last year and found him giving live webcam advice to paedophiles on a dodgy website called Stickam about how to rap properly. Top man!
