Can anyone recommend a few songs to check out?

EDIT:

Except for Kylie, have an ex-girlfriend who was OBSESSED. Tattoo's of her etc.. We broke up soon after she started talking about Children being called Kylie. I ran like f**k.

Not entirely outside the realms of possibility though. To be fair, a lot of people going to V probably wouldn't rate that as a decent headline/support (REM aren't as big as they were say 10 years ago, and Arcade Fire have never REALLY been huge.) Imagine this for a main stage...

REM

Arcade Fire

Flaming Lips

Super Furrys

Plus chuck in Jimmy Cliff as the older act to get the day kicked off...

Obviously, that would never happen (especially after The FLips and The Fire had a dust-up...) but just think eh...just think....

Arcade Fire are one of the greatest live bands I have ever seen, love them, they work really well at festivals, At Glastonbury in 2007 they were one of the highlights for many people and allot of people were not aware of them until that point, they have been out of site for far to long with Wyn the lead singer being unwell, if they are back on track that will make my year

Guys come on its time to wake up before we all get a little carried away here. V always plays safe and with its pop culture developing more and more, year on year, you have no chance with most mentioned here. Kylie perhaps, the rest no chance, maybe slim chance of SFA.

Kasabian headline - no suprise there then (2nd time in what 3 years). Expect Muse as the other headline act.

I'm afraid you have more chance of Oasis playing than you do Arcade Fire.

Expect amoungst others:

Tinchy Strider

N-Dubz

Faithless - the only saviour here

Kylie

Some US pop junk of the moment - probably metro station or the like
