judyblue110
If CSN and Ray Davies (preferably with Dave Davies!) were to play Sunday I would be absolutely ecstatic. The Kinks and CSN(&Y) are two of my favourite bands!
kaytee...
I would love to see Arcade Fire, just announced they're headlining oxegen
staffsknot
Not going to Download this year I take it? Edited March 8, 2010 by staffsknot
ride111
Me too, especially CSN! I'm going to see Ray Davies in Edinburgh in May, but CSN are only playing the SECC in Glasgow this year which is a rubbish venue...
judyblue110
I think Ray Davies is passing through to the Sage Theatre in Gateshead but I'm not sure if I'll be able to get to the gig and CSN are playing Albert Hall if I can remember correctly and I think I'll be down home in London then but tickets are like £89 and on top of already being a poor student to begin with I've gone and bought a ticket for Hard Rock Calling and V. Judyblue110, want to buy me a CSN ticket, please?!
staffsknot
I'm not a student and I couldn't afford justify £89 ticket price! Especially when you think the legendary BB King on one of his few UK tour dates set me back £30 last year at the NIA! One thing I'm going to throw out to the floor - what about Slash - he's probably doing Download and wants to do loads of Summer festivals in the UK... now The Cat in The Hat would be an awesome addition, especially if they find a decent vocalist and bring Velvet Revolver. Anyone else think it could happen? I reckon he'll be at Glastonbury! Edited March 9, 2010 by staffsknot
tricky106
Slash will be announcing tour dates including Europe and festivals next week. Slash would be great, maybe add Journey, The Scorpions and a couple of other similar types of groups and that would make a great Saturday. judyblue110
Yeah I could see Slash being there. Guess it depends who's headlining though, he's nowhere near big enough.
jackthebassist
Guns n Roses are touring Europe in June...... they could headline HRC. If not then why not a Guns n Roses minus Axl gig with all the other members & Slash with Myles Kennedy singing
tricky106
Guns N' Roses would good though that would rule Slash out unless the unthinkable happened.
staffsknot
The unthinkable is actually Slash having Fergie sing Paradise City and it happened. A GnR reunion is a close second though!
Hurricane11
I saw Slash with friends like Ozzy, Fergie, Ron Wood, Jason Bohnham, John5 and Franky Perez last summer in Norway and that was a truly amasing show. And Fergie really rocks.
wilcox
HardRockCalling Sydney rock band Expatriate have been added to Friday's bill, the epic 4-piece will be playing on the Pepsi Max Stage http://cot.ag/cwwa8O

judyblue110
Still O2 presale still available. Live Nation presale starts Thursday anyhow. O2 are now offering mailing fee of £3.25, do I get a £2 refund :-)
tricky106
Got the £2 refund myself which I guessed was related to the P&P as I hadn't bought any other tickets from Ticketmaster. Edited March 10, 2010 by tricky106

booties
Just checked my bank balance, I did indeed get a £2 refund from Ticketmaster for something, and I remembered this post... Only thing I've bought recently is Paul McCartney tickets. Anyone else get this?
tricky106
I think originally the tickets were via Ticketmaster but HRC switched to Eventim at the start of this year. So the Pearl Jam tickets would have been bought via Ticketmaster if purchased last year.
ThunderRoad
The organisers are dragging their heals somewhat this year, the event is only 3 months away, and tickets for both days announced haven't sold out and the Saturday yet to be announced at all. This time last year all three headliners had been announced with the Springsteen Sunday sold out within an hour of going on general release. I think they better start announcing some more acts to drum up a bit more interest.

trickytree
This time last year only Neil Young and Springsteen had been announced, the Killers were the end of March (although that's because it was kinda tagged on as an extra day, really). Springsteen was bound to sell out Hyde Park, I knew McCartney wouldn't (I blame this on the price of tickets + supporting lineup not being announced + he did a big show in London a few months ago and hasn't done anything new since). Still, I'm getting impatient too. Maybe this week?
judyblue110
Once Keane sell a few more tickets for the Forest gigs, they will be announced as support for Macca??
