Hurricane11
I woke up this morning thinking I had dreamt that Pixies rumour for Glastonbury. That would be incredible. Seriously amazing. Unlikely perhaps, but I'm hoping. EDIT: Ah. It was an April Fools joke. Edited April 4, 2010 by Hurricane11
tricky106
The Pixies would be excellent but doubt they would play. I know Slash is playing Download and apparently the Wireless Festival as well which seems strange, prehaps he meant Hard Rock and is subbing McCartney or playing on the same day? Peter Mason
Hopefully this will work: Ticketmaster - Concerts in London this weekend Bad Company at Wembley Arena on Sunday! Yes please!!!!!!! EDIT: You may also want to try some other websites; Ticketmaster doesn't sell tickets for every concert, some seem to be exclusive to Seetickets, or even the venue itself. trickytree
Another addition to the line up, but for Friday. Come on the Sunday booker, shape up. http://www.hardrockcalling.co.uk/lineup/ar...OBERT%20FRANCIS
kaytee...
they are leaving the whole lineup a bit late, people are gonna be buying tickets in a few weeks time to find the extortionate price of hotels for that weekend....luckily I got mine for £

tricky106
What about Teenage Fanclub for the Paul McCartney day? Also, TCV would be a good should for the Sunday as well, maybe they are waiting until a few more tickets for Download are sold before announcing them? judyblue110
Don't know if anyone posted this yet (apologies, if so), but weekend tickets for the Saturday/Sunday are now available. £110 for the 2 nights. Not bad, a bit of a saving. Wonder if they'll give me a refund of the money I could have saved Ticketmaster Linky
Peter Mason
Teenage Fanclub would be a dream for me, gointg to see them at Camden Crawl,Glasgow and Sheppards Bush. Cant see it happen, I'd have heard.
tricky106
Anyone have any ideas for who else maybe playing? What about John Mayer, has a gap in his touring schedule. Edited April 11, 2010 by tricky106

trickytree
It's got to be Keane/Costello for Sunday? But after my appalling betting @ Aintree, I wouldn't back it
tricky106
Costello would be good if he just plays his hits from the late 70's and 80's, not sure on Keane though.
staffsknot
It's a little worrying that every festival I going to between now and September have announced 99% of their line-ups but HRC, which is barely 9 weeks away have still yet to release the sub-headliner for Sunday! Interestingly though Slash is in country for Download two weeks before! Here's hoping!
tricky106
I think Slash is playing Wireless and not HRC as he mentioned it on twitter but hope he is wrong and he is playing HRC instead, would be great as a sub-headliner for Sunday. ThunderRoad
Poor show from the organisers this year, don't know what's going on, either they have no one lined up at all for the Sunday or Macca is playing Diva and requesting final say on line-up! Whatever the reason they need to start pulling their fingers out and drumming up more interest. And even the HRC store isn't up and running leaving it a bit late for people to order their merchandise. Anyway ideas for support from bands touring and free around that time; Deep Purple John Fogerty Status Quo and take your pick from bands playing at festivals around that time, loads of options out there! Get a move on!!!!
tricky106
Any of those mentioned would be good, most likely John Fogerty but would love a bit of Quo or Purple. Also I wish Social Distortion would be announced as they have been TBC for ages, the same with the National, plus Melissa Etheridge is down as playing on the Saturday on her website but no mention on the official website. Just wish they would announce the other acts. Going for all three days but would help if they could announce who else is playing. It could be McCartney being picky with who he wants to support hime or just the fact that there are a large number of festivals.
neiljb
Its got to be Crowded House or Squeeze maybe?? that would be a decent support line up
kaytee...
Blondie's just announced a mini tour for June so maybe a possibility?
