kaytee...
I'm glad I didn't get Glasto tickets now, this sunday lineup is awesome and u2 have dropped out
marine
Woaw. Compare the sunday line up to saturday's, it's ridiculous. As a festivaler, i'm glad i've never seen any of those acts before (kinda used to Kaiser Chiefs and Killers every year). And i'm happy to see all those legends before, let's face it, they're too old to perform or they just die. Elvis Costello, Aaaaaaaaaaallisoooooon. peacocke
If you need me I'll be at the front of the second stage for Little Stevens Jamboree, maybe taking a break for Elvis if they clash. What a bonus bit of news this morning
marine
Bad news for Glastonbury (saw U2 last summer, that tour is niiice) but great news for us haha The atmosphere will be so chilled, i can't wait. I hope they booked the sunshine as well. AAAH NO DISAPPOINTMENT FOR ME. Edited May 25, 2010 by marine

staffsknot
Just to keep the hope alive - Macca and Steve Wonder are playing a gig for Obama in the Whitehouse... with Dave "The Smiley God of Rock" Grohl
si_t
A bit off track from the lineup mutterings - but does anybody know what sort of time the headliners have finished playing in the past? I'm perhaps needing to get back home on the Saturday night after Stevie Wonder, but will be absolutely gutted to leave to catch a train whilst he's finishing with Sir Duke, Superstition or some other classic. any help appreciated

frankblack
Hyde Park has a curfew of half 10 so I would assume most headliners come on at about 7:30 and finish at about quarter past ten. Although I think Springsteen overran last year if I remember correctly.
judyblue110
When do the tubes close? I've got to get back to Earls Court area, where I have a hotel room.

frankblack
I'm not sure what time the tubes close, but I walked back last year to Kensington Olympia from Hyde Park, which took about 20 minutes. Earl's Court is about another 5-8 minutes walk from here, so worst comes to worst you could easily walk it!
frankblack
I think the Tubes close just before 1.00AM on Friday and Saturday and just before 12.00 on Sunday but not 100%. However you will definitely be able to get the tube back after the concert. I was able to after seeing Eric Clapton and The Police two years ago without any problems. Chavmeisterdeluxe
Hyde park corner tube station usually closes early when a gig is on, Green Park is only a 2-3 minute walk though so all works out fine.

Sir_Goat
Wonder if there'll be one last announcement to fill up the mainstage a bit more! Still waiting for John fogerty Would fit in quite well before CSN!
tricky106
Apparently The Hives are in Wolfmother's slot so either Gomez are headlining the second stage or they have someone else lined up for the second stage.
