Prayin for AC/DC. They'll play 4 times in Germany this summer, and only once in England. Maybe there's a chance to see them at HRC. I'd Love to see them, as well as Stone Temple Pilots.

Waiting for my 7th time with Pearl Jam. Never enough.

Hopefully no Meat Loaf, Keane, Kooks, and other boysbands.

Van Halen been rumoured for Download, but look like they wont play there. Maybe HRC instead ?

McCartney returns for Scottish gig

(UKPA) – 2 hours ago

Sir Paul McCartney said he is looking forward to playing in Scotland again as he announced his first gig north of the border for 20 years.

The former Beatle will play at Hampden Park in Glasgow on June 20 as part of a series of four outdoor shows at venues around the UK on his Up And Coming tour this summer.

It will be his first live gig in Scotland since his 1990 World Tour when he played at the SECC in Glasgow.

In his forthcoming shows he will play music from throughout his career, with songs from The Beatles, Wings and his solo work, including tracks from The Fireman's 2008 album Electric Arguments.

He said: "I'm especially looking forward to playing in Glasgow as it's been quite a while. Scotland holds such a special place for me.

"I have loads of Scottish mates and so many great memories of being there.

"It's going to be a memorable and special night."

He will also play at the Isle Of Wight Festival on June 13, at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff on June 26 and at Hyde Park Calling, London, on June 27.

Well Macca on the Sunday will be good, just wish they would announce the bloody support as well. Still holding out hope for TCV or Foo Fighters though!

Anyway McCartney was at HRC last year, all be it for two minutes cheering on Neil Young
